The Foundation: Part 1

In 2017, I wasn’t thinking about writing—I was trying to survive grief. To breathe through the silence left by the woman who had shaped my faith, my courage, and my life—my mom, Terri. But as I sat with her words, handwritten in journals filled with raw prayers and quiet surrender, I realized something sacred: she had already written the book. The legacy was there, waiting to be shared.
So, this isn’t just her story. It’s ours.
This is for the woman who is tired but keeps showing up.
For the one who feels unseen, unheard, or uncertain.
For the woman leading her family, her church, her job—carrying it all with grace and grit.
For the one longing for peace, fighting off fear, and still saying yes to Jesus in the middle of the mess.
Her handwritten words whispered a truth I couldn’t ignore: we don’t have to have it all together to leave a legacy—we just have to be willing to live fully, boldly, and surrendered.
The same truths my mother lived—the same foundation she stood on—became the heart of the AIMS™ Leadership Framework: Authenticity. Influence. Motivation. Service.
Her unwavering faith, her quiet resilience, and her relentless commitment to serving others shaped who I am as a leader. She didn’t lead from a stage—she led through presence, through integrity, through the way she showed up when no one was watching.
And that is exactly what AIMS™ was built for.
I am sharing this foundation with you to prepare for the upcoming launch of my book—where we will dive deep into each pillar of AIMS™ and rewrite leadership frameworks that no longer serve us.
Because leadership was never meant to be performative. It was meant to be rooted.
Through these pages, you’ll hear her voice—and hopefully, the gentle whisper of God’s voice, too.
So come on. Let’s walk this journey together.
